Coronavirus Churches General Guidelines

We have been following closely everything that is going on with the Coronavirus (COVID 2019) and its latest updates. We would like to remind you the following recommendations we have posted in recent days, particularly if you are considering attending one of our churches.

General Guidelines

• If you work in the health industry, specially if you have been exposed to the virus, we urge you not to assist to the service. The wellbeing of the congregation is what is most important, and we appreciate your understanding in this situation.
• Also, if you are 65 years or older, we urge you stay home. This virus is known for being extremely aggressive with the elderly.
• It is recommended that pregnant women and families with infants stay home.
• If you have a weak immune system you should stay home.
• It is also important to mention that you should only go to the locations your regularly attend and avoid visiting different church locations. Just as an example, if the church in Queens, New York is close you should not try to mobilize to a nearby location such as Flushing, New York to try to attend the service. We need to consider the guidelines by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), which restricts the number of people than can assemble.
• You should consider what is your main method of transportation. If you mobilize mainly using public transportation, you should refrain from attending the service because you could be potentially expose to the virus and the risk of propagation could be increased.
• You should wash your hands with water and soap for at least 20 seconds.
• If you do not have water and soap available, you could use hand sanitizer with a minimum concentration of 60 % of alcohol.
• If you do not feel well or you feel ill, you should stay home.
• Avoid close contact with people that have the virus.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with your hands.
• Cover your nose and mouth when you cough or sneeze with a disposable tissue.
